Each geothematic area offers samples of a rich geodiversity. A network of geothematic tours allows people to begin their journey through the geoheritage of the Piemonte Region. The tours connect geosites and facilities (“stops”) providing descriptions of the natural and cultural landscape and interpretations of the related geological and geomorphological processes.

By clicking on it, you will be redirected to the ProGeo-Piemonte map containing GPS tracks and stops for effective orienteering and a general description of the trail including technical data (difficulty Level, length and duration, accessibility, …). Each stop is linked to an illustrated form for interpreting the geological features and for offering complementary descriptions on archaeological, historical, architectural and religious aspects of the trail.
